"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

| By Gerri From Cincinnati, OH On September 30, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Health ProfessionalPros: Comfortable Cons: Some Wetness as it Melts, Poor Value ![]() | Cold One Ankle WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Cold One Ankle WrapI had achilles tendon surgery which produces swelling around the entire ankle. This ice wrap doesn't cover the entire area. It has ice where it wraps around the ankle and foot but not in between where most of the swelling occurs. The product claims to not sweat but it does as it melts. I would like to return the product but it would cost me shipping and restocking fees. |
| By Average Joe From Arkansas On September 09, 2011 About Me: Suffering from General PainPros: Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief Cons: Difficult to Use, Uncomfortable ![]() | Too Big Too LittleComments: BOTTOM LINE: Too Big Too LittleThis wrap needs to come in "sizes" One size fits all is a farce. My wife had to remake this wrap to fit, as it was "HUGE" I see that below the question is asked, Would I recommend to a friend? Answer: Only if he was a silver back gorilla. |
| By Amanda the Mover From Hamptonville, NC On August 29, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Recently Injured, Suffering from General PainPros: Well Made, Provides Pain Relief Cons: Some Wetness as it Melts ![]() | Excitement over an Ice Pack :(Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Excitement over an Ice Pack :(It's sad when you get to a point in your life when you're actually EXCITED about receiving ice wraps. But, that's where I'm at! I like to run for excercise but it sure is hard on my body! I had two things going on at once. I tore a tendon in my ankle and I have chronic knee pain. I didn't know if I should order the ankle wrap or the knee wrap. What the heck - I ordered both! Boy, I'm glad I did! I LOVE them. No more bags of frozen peas hanging vicariously off the side of my foot. I wrap both my knees and my ankle and walk around the house and do whatever needs doing. I'm no longer confined to the chair while icing my ailments. Now, I'm proactive and ice my ankle and knees after EVERY run. This has really helped to prevent injuries. |

| By Waterdawg From Huntington Beach, CA On July 24, 2011 About Me: AthleticPros: Comfortable, Well Made Cons: Poor Value ![]() | Fine but way too expensiveComments: BOTTOM LINE: Fine but way too expensiveSo the truth, it's made from a small piece of neoprene with velcro closures and several pockets for the cooling "fluid." I surf, can buy a full spring suit for $65, so this is way overpriced. A nice product but worth maybe $25 retail. Someone is making "bank" on this. I run four days a week and like to ice down an old injury ankle post run. There are other products that do as good a job available [...] type store for $20.00 Recommend the ankle wrap with the "GEL" inserts. Save your money on this one, don't buy it! |
| By Angela From NY On May 11, 2011 About Me: Recently InjuredPros: Provides Pain Relief, Well Made, Comfortable, Hold its Temperature, Great Fit ![]() | A great productComments: BOTTOM LINE: A great productI broke my ankle in three places, and the swelling was terrible. My husband went online and purchased two different types of ice packs for me. This one was terrific. It is easy to put on with its velcro fasteners, as opposed to the other one which had annoying straps. It fit my foot perfectly. was comfortable, and held its temperature for about 40 minutes, which was ideal. It didn't chafe my incision scars, and I could put it on myself with no help. I highly recommend it. |
| By Thomas Liang From Undisclosed On June 28, 2010 ![]() | ColdOne Ice WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: ColdOne Ice WrapThe ankle wrapping is fast, convenient and easy, and the best among three brands I have tried in recent days. I just wish the ice pack were larger. The stiff clear plastic wrap supplied for use in refrigeration is very useful. |
| By Chuck M From Undisclosed On November 25, 2009 ![]() | ice wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: ice wrapThis is one of the better products. comfortable and easy to wear. You can even walk around the house wearing this wrap. |
| By Max James From Undisclosed On May 15, 2008 | Comfortable, just rightComments: BOTTOM LINE: Comfortable, just rightI have used this wrap for 2 months now. It is surprisingly comfortable. It stays cold easily for 30 minutes which is all the longer I am supposed to wear it. I would reccomend it to anyone with ankle pain! |
| By joyclark From Undisclosed On May 15, 2008 | ankle wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: ankle wrapI broke my ankle in 3 places back in Jan. I have tried so many different ice packs. This feels good, but the cold does not last very long. The longest is maybe an hour. I really love the all around ice packs much better. The ice packs in this ankle wrap are very small. |

I liked the shape of this wrap, as it seemed like it would cover the entire foot. But it only has ice in small parts of the wrap, and I needed ice all over my foot. I was expecting it to be gel-filled all over; instead, it's cubes of ice in certain areas, making it not very comfortable, not long-lasting, and not even close to covering all affected areas of my foot. Not worth the price and I do better with cheap drug store packs and some velcro strips to hold them in place.
