"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat." -- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling
Athletic Ice Knee Wrap - For Knee Physical Therapy
Treats your swollen and painful knee!
If you need fast, temporary pain relief for a knee tendon injury, strain, sprain, or other minor injury, you need the Athletic Ice Knee Wrap by Pro Kold. This hand washable wrap is durable and reusable and is perfect for relieving pain with up to 2 hours or cold treatment at a temperature that is safe for your skin. Unlike other wraps and cold compresses, this 13?x15? wrap features a mat of tiny ice pillows sewn into ripstop material with anti-microbial finish to help control the growth of bacteria on the wrap itself.
To keep it in place and make sure to treat the swollen and painful knee in the area where it hurts, it has latex free elastic straps with hook tabs attached. This not only keeps it where it belongs but also ensures the wrap provides a controllable, comfortable compression that truly treats the knee and relieves pain and swelling from injuries as serious as a knee tendon injury.
Aside from sports injuries, the wrap can also be used for knee physical therapy patients who have had surgery and are working to reduce swelling and pain in the affected knee. The two layers of ice pillows contain purified, non-toxic water as the freezing agent, and the formation of small pockets of water allows the wrap to be flexible for optimum compress and application to the injury site even when frozen. The outside of the wrap is velvet loop fabric that can fit all sizes.

| By Kate From Washington, DC On Octover 03, 2011 About Me: AthleticPros: Hold its Temperature, Great Fit, Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Just what I was looking forComments: BOTTOM LINE: Just what I was looking forOne of the best things about this wrap is that it stays cold for at least an hour. It is a little stiff when it comes out of the freezer but once it is on it feels great. It provides good coverage of the knee and allows you to move around if you need to. It is probably best to wear it over workout, yoga pants or even jeans rather than directly against the skin. |
| By BJ From Tennessee On September 11, 2011 ![]() | "I love this Wrap-highly recommend"Comments: BOTTOM LINE: "I love this Wrap-highly recommend"I use at the end of the day when knee is a little swollen' I LOVE the fact that the wrap is large enough to cool my entire knee, instead of "spot" cooling. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! And it is made in the USA!!!! I searched until I found a product made in USA and it is superior to anything else I had found or used in the past. |
| By SoreKnees23 From Chicago, IL On August 27, 2011 About Me: Suffering from General Pain, AthleticPros: Provides Pain Relief, Hold its Temperature, Well Made ![]() | Excellent product!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Excellent product!I suffer from knee pain following most athletic activities. I used to use frozen vegetables to ice my knees because they effectively maintained their temperature and conformed to my leg. After purchasing this product, I am definitely done with the frozen vegetables. The IceKold pack fits well around the knee, maintains the same temperature as the frozen vegetables and has no water runoff. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good ice pack. |

I use it daily to reduce inflammation after activity. It provides soothing relief from achy joints. The thing that makes this ice wrap different from others is that I can walk around/multi-task with it on. |

| By Sunsing From Santa Fe, NM On July 07, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Suffering from General Pain, Recently InjuredPros: Comfortable, Well Made, Big enough for a big guy, Provides Pain Relief, Hold its Temperature, Great Fit ![]() | Great ProductComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great ProductGreat wrap. Just one holds the cold for a long enough to ice both my knees two times of 20- 30 minutes each in one sitting. I've got two of them s I can keep them recycling through the day. I do fairly heavy weight workouts. |
| By Rob From Texas On June 13, 2011 About Me: Recently InjuredPros: Great Fit, Hold its Temperature, Large Cons: Poor Value, Velcro difficult to use, Doesn't wear well, No insulate against skin ![]() | Large but too coldComments: BOTTOM LINE: Large but too coldUsed to rehab a torn ligament. Things I like about this ice pack: -large -holds its temperature I wish this ice pack: -had more insulation against the skin to keep proper temperature (it's too cold). You'll need to put a thin towel against the skin. -better velcro design to last longer (felt wears away very quickly) -cost less (price is high for what you get) |
| By TKR bound From Houston, Texas On April 19, 2011 About Me: Prep for surgeryPros: Good quality Cons: For tender knee too stif ![]() | Not flexible when frozenComments: BOTTOM LINE: Not flexible when frozenThe device is well made and if knee isn't tender might be OK, but when "gel" packs freeze they are like 2" ice cubes and create too much pressure on sensitive areas. Not what I expected. |

| By Rugie From Brighton, MI On February 13, 2011 Pros: Well Made, Comfortable, Hold its Temperature, Great Fit, Best one for whole knee, Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Great Ice Wrap For Knee Injuries and SurComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great Ice Wrap For Knee Injuries and SurI have had 3 knee arthroscopies, and now two knees replaced. This is by far the best ice wrap for knee cold treatments after surgery and for general pain relief later that I've ever tried. It is so helpful I got a second one. |
| By jcart21 From Sheboygan, WI On February 07, 2011 About Me: Recently InjuredPros: Great Fit, Comfortable ![]() | Well worth the money ...Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Well worth the money ...Good product to get once you no longer have your post-op ice/cold machine. |
| By Bill From Tennessee On February 04, 2011 About Me: Health ProfessionalPros: Hold its Temperature Cons: Uncomfortable, Poor contour ![]() | Nice ice, but design is lackingComments: BOTTOM LINE: Nice ice, but design is lackingThe ability of this icepack to retain it's temperature is outstanding. However, it's design is not tapered to contour to a leg. As a result, it has to be strapped "extremely tight" on the top and bottom straps for the ice to make good contact. Too tight for any degree of comfort post surgical. Now, if my right leg were only a straight piece of PVC pipe, this design would be perfect. |
| By Jeff From San Diego, Ca On January 29, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Suffering from General PainPros: Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief, Comfortable, Great Fit, Well Made ![]() | Great ProductComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great ProductI am recovering from my 3rd knee surgery. I have bought several ice wraps, and a Polar Ice Machine, however, this wrap is the best so far. It is easy to use, and it stays cold for a long time. I did a lot of research on the internet, and am very pleased with this product. |
| By Barry R From Undisclosed On Octover 07, 2010 ![]() | Ice knee wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Ice knee wrapI used the knee wrap before and after my knee replacement surgery and it was an ideal pack. I now take it in an insulated bag to tennis games so I can use it immediately after I play and have even given them away to friends who rave about them. Velco is easy to use and has not worn out even after many months of use. I have also used a cold gel pad when lying down, but it would great if it had a velcro attachment. Excellent service from the company. |
| By Dave From Undisclosed On August 05, 2010 | Great Ice Wrap!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Great Ice Wrap!First time I have ever enjoyed icing my knee's and it is so easy to slip these on and off. I wear them on both knees and even after taking a shower my knees still felt chilled to the touch. This product works great. |
| By badleftknee From Undisclosed On August 01, 2010 ![]() | Just what I neededComments: BOTTOM LINE: Just what I neededJust had a left knee replacement and this product fit the bill. Well priced for the use. |
| By Dan From Undisclosed On April 02, 2010 ![]() | Great wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great wrapCan start out a little rough due to compression but I found if you don't put it on tight at first, then tighten after 5 minutes or so, there is no problem. Much better than the gell type which tend to lose their coldness in a few minutes. The compression is an added bonus! |
| By Kevin From Undisclosed On March 15, 2010 ![]() | Ok wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Ok wrapThe big negative about this wrap is that it is basically little ice cubes. They hold the coldness fine, but when you wrap it around your knee, it can start to hurt some areas where the ice cubes dig into your leg. Not ideal if you just had surgery. I prefer the all gel ones. This may be better once the leg heals. |

| By Maureen Moody From Undisclosed On June 23, 2009 | Ice Knee WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Ice Knee WrapI have Ostero Arthritis in both of my knees, the wrap provides much needed relief and reduces a lot of the swelling and pain. It is great and I use it all the time. |
| By Donna From Undisclosed On May 29, 2009 | not exactly what I wantedComments: BOTTOM LINE: not exactly what I wantedAfter reading reviews I thought this was the perfect ice pack for my post patial knee replacement, but after freezing the ice wrap it came out real hard, since my knee is swollen and sensitive the hardness is not comfortable but maybe later.I really like the velcro and size. |
| By Pete From Undisclosed On May 20, 2009 | post total knee replacementComments: BOTTOM LINE: post total knee replacementGreat product, refreezes quickly and maintains flexibility due to its design.I only wish it was bigger. The velcro is excellent- I hope it doesn't "wear out" |
| By doris tracanna From Undisclosed On April 11, 2009 | knee ice wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: knee ice wrapso much easier than other ice treatments...more effective.... and no watery drippings to cintend with... |
| By sheldon From Undisclosed On March 10, 2009 | great in the beginning, not so good after a number of usesComments: BOTTOM LINE: great in the beginning, not so good after a number of usesi have had surgeries on both knees and have tried many ice wraps and packs. this wrap was great for the first couple months after the latest surgery, but then because the velcro would wear out the cloth, the straps would not hold well. what a shame. they need to either put velcro on the cloth part to hold the velcro on the strao, or better yet use clasps or some other adjustable material. for the short term till the cloth wears away, there is nothing better. after that, oh well. again, what a shame. |
| By KAREN From Undisclosed On March 10, 2009 | ICE WRAPComments: BOTTOM LINE: ICE WRAPLOVE THE FEXIBLITY AND THE FACT THAT IT STAYS COLD SO LONG AND DOESN'T TAKE LONG TO GET COLD AGAIN |

| By mike garon From Undisclosed On Octover 22, 2008 | Athletic Ice Knee WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Athletic Ice Knee WrapThe product is very good however I was looking for an exact match to the IceWrap product used by my physical therapist. What I ordered appeared to be the same but is actually a bit smaller making it difficult to use. |
| By Michael Cook From Undisclosed On August 09, 2008 | Ice Knee WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Ice Knee WrapEasily attached to many different parts of the body with velcro straps. Holds cold well. A little on the expensive side |
| By Debbie From Undisclosed On July 22, 2008 | Knee wrapsComments: BOTTOM LINE: Knee wrapsI love the knee wraps. The only thing I would change about them is to make the straps longer, especially the one that goes above the knee. |
| By Linda From Undisclosed On July 09, 2008 | ice knee wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: ice knee wrapIt worked well. However I wish there was a removable, washable piece of thin material to cover the plastci side of the wrap to absorb the condensation as well as slightly lessen the contact with the ice. I realize you can use a towel but I would have appreciated the above suggestion employed. |
| By Tom From Undisclosed On May 28, 2008 | Awesome!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Awesome!I bought the athletic ice knee wrap for my wife who recently had knee surgery ans she is pleased with the product. It stays on securely and stays cold for about 2.5 to 3 hours. She even drives to work with it on! |
| By Eunice Guilmino From Undisclosed On January 15, 2008 | Helped after knee replacement surgeryComments: BOTTOM LINE: Helped after knee replacement surgeryI had knee replacement surgery in October and needed something to help me go to sleep. My son-in-law had been sent home from the hospital with a similar ice-pack and I borrowed it for a few days, but he needed it back. So I ordered the icewrap for knees. It has helped a great deal. A note to R&D: It would be more comfortable if the pack actually surrounded the knee, rather than covering approximately 2/3 of it. When laying in bed, the icewrap became uncomfortable, because it didn't include the back of the knee as well as the top. The swelling of my knee was on the backside as well as the frontside. If the icewrap had been a little bigger, it would have been more comfortable. The velcro straps are wonderful. I now keep it in my freezer at all times when it is not in use, so I can get it out at a moment's notice. Thanks for your product! |
| By Albert N. DeCola From Undisclosed On January 14, 2008 | Helped ease the pain after Knee SurgeryComments: BOTTOM LINE: Helped ease the pain after Knee SurgeryI purchased this item since I was having an upcoming knee surgery. I thought it would help from attempting to get back and forth to the freezer for those smaller ace wraps you purchase at the drugstore. This item proved to be a godsend after the surgery. The pack lasted up to 3 hours without refreezing which was ideal for me as I could not bend my leg for several days and was avoiding constant up and down from my sofa. With its ease of rotating to different areas of my leg, which had swelled after the surgery, was terrific. I would highly recommend this product. It was a terrific find! |
