"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat." -- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

The Elasto-Gel Cranial Cap, models CAP600 and CAP602, are hot or cold packs designed to provide non-chemical headache relief (no aspirin, etc), and treatment of migraine headaches, hypothermia, and hyperpyrexia or heat stroke. The cap fits the contour of the head to give heat transfer uniformly over the whole area. The gel base of the cap is covered with a four-way stretch Lycra nylon fabric to allow the cap to fit the shape of the head to be comfortable. The cap is designed to treat the neck area as well, since many headaches are associated with muscle tension and nerve pressure of this area. The cap may be used for chemo-therapy or as a cool down cap for athletes.

SIZES: CAP600 fits Small to Medium (hat size 8 and smaller) CAP602 fits Large or Extra Large (hat size 9 and larger)

4.0 Really Cold, but great coverage
Comments:
the chin strap is fairly high and tight, which is upsetting, since the rest of it fits correctly. i like that it goes down my neck, but my ears get really cold! This type of icepack stays cold for quite a long time but sometimes can feel a little too cold and it's impractical to put something between you and this pack. Maybe if there was an optional cover or something that could be bought / added to it? Will still be great when I have botox for migraine done, and on nights where my head is killing me a way to ice more than just one part of it at a time. Do not regret the purchase at all.

4.0 Ice the migraine!
Comments:
The cranial cap helps cool my head down during a migraine attack. Bags of ice cubs melt, get messy and have to be prepared. I love the convenience and readiness of this product. Although, it helps numb the area, it does not take the migraine away. I still require my medication, but it the best delivery of cold to my head that I have found to date. I'm one happy customer.

4.0 Great Product
Comments:
I have been suffering from TMJ, Migraines and Trigeminal Nerve Disorder for a number of years and these products give some relief, better that the NUMEROUS other ice pack products that I have purchased over the years. It was money well spent.

5.0 Uncommon uses for Elasto Gel Cap
Comments:
The primary use for this product is for pain relief due to migrane headaches. However, we have received comments from a mom who said her son was home from college and had a severe hangover and he used the cap and it eleviated his pain so well that she had to purchase one for him to take back to school with him.

3.0 stays cold for 10 minutes
Comments:
It works well, but it only stays cold for 10 minutes. Usually that's long enough to cool down a headache. If you really suffer from migraines, I'd suggest you get 2 or 3 of them.

5.0 Great for Migraines/TMJ Pain
Comments:
I have used all kinds off otc and prescribed meds for my Migraine and TMJ pains. I have had too many allergic reactions to the prescription medications thus far that I mainly use ice or hot treatments and go to bed. This cap has been such a lifesaver. I no longer have to put an ice pack into a pillowcase and try and wrap it around my head. I love this product. Thinking of purchasing a second one so I can use it while this one is re-freezing, as it takes about 45 minutes to refreeze, and my pain lasts for hours on end(which is better than the eight long days it used too).

5.0 Relieves headache painL
Comments:
This cap has been a great help to my 12 year old son who has had a constant terrible headache for the past year and a half. It is the only thing that takes the edge off of his pain. (No meds have touched it) I used it myself for a migraine, and so did my older child, and it worked great for both of us. It actually relieved the pain so much we couldn't believe it. It made us sad to know how bad our little guy feels for it to only take the edge off of his pain. Great product!
