Economy Blue Small Shoulder Ice Wrap
Description
Our Economy Blue line has been designed to be less expensive than our high-end Elite Kold products. Our Elite Kold products have two layers of ice for maximum icing effect. The ecomomy blue ice wraps have only one layer of larger cell ice. Our EB wraps with the ripstop nylon inside, offer a very good cold treatment with immediate cold transfer like a bag of ice with out the water mess.
Elite Kold is now a pro model that is great for more experienced players and longer term icing. Economy Blue (EB) is for the players that don't need to ice as long. EB ice wraps travel well and will stay cold when in an insulated bag or chest.
The ripstop nylon that this wrap is made of keeps the wrap next to the skin or shirt--this transfers the cold much quicker and is more effective in getting the cold where it needs to be quicker.
The EB wraps are also lighter. As a good example, the Elite Kold pro- shoulder weighs 3 pounds while the Economy Blue weighs about 1 1/2 pounds.

As a preventive measure or for actual injury of the throwing athlete, the small (youth/womens) Shoulder Wrap is just what you need. Several studies have shown that Elite Kold products get the appropriate cold (just above freezing) to the treatment site, with no fear of frostbite or cold shock. Many team physicians and athletic trainers use Elite Kold products on the sideline and in the training room.
