Pain in the heel can easily worsen. Everyday tasks like standing and walking use the ankle joint, aggravating injuries.
The Elasto-Gel heel protector boot disperses your weight off the bony parts of the ankle that usually bear it all. The support alone can lessen ankle muscle pain, as anyone who's tried a splint can know.
This comfortable, easy-to-use boot also has a removable gel insert. Adjust it as needed to aid any pain in an ankle. Protect your heel with the padding that won't leak if stabbed nor dry out. The padding will even alleviate ankle surgery pain and protect against heel ulcers. And since it's both latex-free and nitrile-free, people with an allergy to either rubber can still use this product.
If your shoe size is smaller than a size 9 you will need a small/medium. If your shoe size is 9 or larger you will need a large/x-large.
Heat the gel insert or chill it either way, it will remain flexible to cushion your joint, down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat or cold relief lasts for 10 - 15 minutes, due to the gel insert's size. I purchased the ice wrap to treat a sore achilles tendon. The product was ineffective for this. Although the gel pak remained soft even after being in the freezer, the wrap did not hold the gel pak securely against my achilles tendon, thus the cold temperature was not delivered there. Instead, the bottom of my foot got very cold. No instructions for proper usage were supplied. I called, and was given brief instructions over the phone which I followed. I was never able to achieve a wrap that looked like the picture shown on the web site.
