When should I use cold or ice treatments? Simply put ice therapy is best when used for acute pain and injuries...and to reduce inflammation. Cold limits internal bleeding by causing the blood vessels to narrow. This results in reduced swelling. Always apply a barrier such as a towel or other fabric protecting your skin from extreme cold. Some of the ice packs and wraps have this built in.
When should I use heat therapy? If your injury is ongoing, chronic and does not involve swelling, heat is an appropriate selection. Heat therapy stimulates blood flow and can relax you muscles. Heat is rarely appropriate immediate following exercise, as this type of pain is best treated as acute pain, with cold therapy. Just as a barrier such as a cloth or towel is appropriate for ice...the same is true for heat to protect your skin from burning. It is not necessary an often unsafe to leave heat on for any longer than 15 - 20 minutes. If your wrap only holds i's heat for 20 minutes...that's OK, as that is long enough.

Once the actual cost is determined they will then contact you so that you can decide if faster shipping is the correct decision for you. Can I purchase a wrap through my insurance company? At this time we do not accept payments directly from insurance companies. However many of our customers have submitted a copy of their invoice along with a doctor’s prescription and been directly reimbursed. What stores carry your products? We are strictly an online store and do not have a storefront location that you can travel to.
Can I get a sample for my medical/therapeutic practice? We would be happy send your licensed medical/therapeutic facility 1 of our wraps at a discount. Once you find that our ice/heat wrap will meet your patients needs, and you are ready to place a larger order, we can put together custom pricing to help you meet your clients needs. Where is my product shipping from? We stock OVER 95% of our wraps from ICE Distribution located in Hudson Michigan. The other 5% are dropshipped from 13 different North America locations. Do the wraps already come with inserts...or do I need to buy them separately? All of our wraps come included with the heat or ice inserts at no extra cost. Some are sewn in, while others are removable. Some of the most popular wraps offer additional inserts to ensure you always have a spare ready to go. Do you ship outside of the USA? We do; however, you must call 517-306-6090 and place the order. You will pay actual cost of shipping and we do not cover taxes or fees. Also, we will only ship to the billing address to avoid fraud.
