The thin design of this pack weighs less than other comparable products. Flexifreeze’s patented gel and design stays cold longer compared to other products that use bentonite or glycol formulas. There is not enough gel inside to fill the whole ice pack. You have to move the gel around to the spot you want and only use part of the ice pack. I bought the ice pack to wrap aroung my neck and/or head but there is not nearly enough gel inside to do so.
