Virtually no matter where you hurt, the Pro Ice Multi-Purpose Wrap (PI 400) provides a solution. It’s especially effective for knee pain, back pain or injuries to the quad, hip, hamstring, calf, shin or elbow. The compression straps provide a custom fit no matter where it’s applied. This reusable ice wrap will reduce swelling and has numerous applications in sports medicine, including elbow tendinitis, knee sprains or knee strains, tennis elbow and muscle pulls. It also works well when paired with physical therapy rehab.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.
Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. The cover is made of Veltex, a patented, insulated loop fabric that will not fray. It directs the cold, limits condensation and lasts. The cryoblanket ice insert fluid is FDA-approved, food-grade and nontoxic. The proprietary mix melts slower than 100% water products and ice, rendering it ideal for remote usage. The windowpane format does not slump or thin, whether applied vertically or horizontally, even under compression, giving uniform distribution of cold. Elastic compression straps keep the wrap in place allowing variable compression where needed for personalized comfort and pinpoint application on trouble spots, while allowing the user to remain mobile and still ice. Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products are ready wherever and whenever needed.

| By RK From New York, NY On September 17, 2012 About Me: Knee replacementPros: Freezes Quickly, Great Fit, Well Made, Comfortable, Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Great Ice PackComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great Ice PackThe ice wrap is really great. It attaches around the knee area in a second. The velcro straps hold it in place. I use a thin towel underneath the wrap to avoid skin irritation. I wish the wrap would stay colder just a bit longer. I can get about 20 minutes of intense cold out of a use before having to re-freeze the wrap. I also use an ace bandage to secure it. This technique intensifies the cold. Great ice wrap and I couldn't live without it. Knee replacement is a tough operation and cold is the key. |
| By Michael From Florida On September 11, 2012 About Me: Suffering from General Pain, AthleticCons: Uncomfortable, Difficult to Use ![]() | get a gel one insteadComments: BOTTOM LINE: get a gel one insteadI got this to use on my knees, for patellofemoral pain syndrome. It has a sheet of little rectangles of ice that get hard when they freeze, have spaces between them, and don't make good contact with my knee. The hard ice pieces hurt if my knee bends at all while it's been recently applied. I have to wrap the bands really tightly and all around in order to get good contact, and I still have spots that don't get cold. It does not last an hour like it says, except maybe for some of the pieces that didn't really get good contact. The pieces that are doing the cooling work will be liquid in about 15 minutes. I was considering returning this, but ordered a gel pack to put under it instead. |

| By the color guy From Denver On April 06, 2012 Pros: Well Made, Hold its Temperature ![]() | Good productComments: BOTTOM LINE: Good productIt is very easy to use and fit in the freezer. I like that it can be used for more than just my knee should the need arise. It is a bit uncomfortable as the material is kind of hard but that is not a big thing. I would recommend this product without reservation. It is also priced right as well |
| By door tech From Modesto, CA On February 28, 2012 About Me: Suffering from General PainPros: Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Little longer pleaseComments: BOTTOM LINE: Little longer pleaseNeeds to be a little longer for larger knees so it will wrap around to the back side |

| By Knee pain From Los Angeles, CA On Octover 09, 2011 About Me: Reduce swelling in knees, Suffering from General Pain, AthleticPros: Great Fit, Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief Cons: Uncomfortable, Outdated look, Very hard to walk in ![]() | Does the jobComments: BOTTOM LINE: Does the jobOverall a very good product that does what I need it to do. I wrap both knees with these ice packs after I run and it reduces the swelling and pain. The design and look of the wraps is very outdated and looks like it probably looked in the 70's. Not a big deal but they can easily upgrade the material and look of the product. Happy I purchased. |
| By Ski Mama From Boston On September 20, 2011 About Me: AthleticPros: Wraps most of the knee Cons: Cells leaked ![]() | Not thrilled with its performanceComments: BOTTOM LINE: Not thrilled with its performanceI wish that the insert was a soft gel instead of individual ice cells. The product wraps around the knee but leaves marks on the leg from the cells (even with a cloth between the netting and leg. The stiff cells make it uncomfortable to use when putting pressure on the knee. I used this post knee replacement and found that because of the spaces between cells, it didn't get as evenly cold as the soft gel ice packs used at physical therapy. |

| By Not gettin' younger From Boston, MA On July 15, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Recently Injured, Suffering from General PainPros: Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief, Well Made, Comfortable ![]() | Very good buyComments: BOTTOM LINE: Very good buyVery happy with it. Can be almost too cold right out of the freezer, so I take mine out first. By the time I get back from my (half hour) run, it's at the perfect temp. |
| By Lee the Referee From Fremont, OH On July 14, 2011 About Me: Recently Injured, AthleticPros: Provides Pain Relief, Hold its Temperature Cons: Uncomfortable ![]() | I would buy this product again, but...Comments: BOTTOM LINE: I would buy this product again, but...Bought this for post-surgery use and it has been good. It is stiff though and uncomfortable unless you keep it elevated while it is on your knee. I had 2 of the water pockets lose their water in the first week of use. |

| By Jim Lyons From New York On March 31, 2011 Pros: Hold its Temperature, Well Made, Comfortable, Provides Pain Relief, Great Fit ![]() | Awesome product exactly what I neededComments: BOTTOM LINE: Awesome product exactly what I neededfits perfectly around the knees.I just had bi lateral knee replacements so I'm icing them down 4-5 times a day.The refreeze pretty quick, but I purchased an extra set of inserts just in case. One of the pockets on the insert leaked one the first day,but that was it |
| By Timmydiesel From Chicago, IL On March 29, 2011 About Me: Recently InjuredPros: Comfortable, Great Fit, Hold its Temperature ![]() | Does what it's supposed to doComments: BOTTOM LINE: Does what it's supposed to doI broke my right tibia & decided I needed my own ice pack after getting "iced" after my physical therapy sessions. This product is [...] very easy to use. I'm using this just below my knee & it fits well. The velcro works as it should & I have had no issues with slipping as long as I pull the straps tight. What I DON'T suggest is using this on bare skin. The one and only time I did that, I thought I was going to get frost bite. Not good. Over clothing, it's perfect. You can barely feel it while wearing it and it does a great job providing even soothing relief. I have had no problem with leakage as some others have suggested. It stays cold for at least an hour, with the first 20-30 minutes being the most effective. For the money, this one is hard to beat. I wouldn't say it's top of the line, but very effective & easy to use. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again. Service Comments: Product was delivered to me within 72 hours of ordering. I couldn't believe it arrived so quickly! Perfect packaging all the way. Very satisfied in this area. |
| By bad knees From tucson AZ On March 05, 2011 About Me: Recently InjuredPros: Well Made, Comfortable, Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief, Great Fit ![]() | This wrap is great, especially for frequComments: BOTTOM LINE: This wrap is great, especially for frequThe wrap is great, but the insert had sections that started leaking after only 1 week. I regret spending money on extra inserts, as they were not worth the extra money, but the wrap is great. You can use different sides, depending on whether you are using it over clothing or not (mesh side has less protection from direct contact so is colder, the other side can be used on bare skin). After knee replacement surgery, I have been using this wrap several times a day. |
| By Dan the Knee From Santa Barbara, CA. On February 07, 2011 About Me: Recent knee replacementPros: Well Made, Comfortable, Provides Pain Relief, Great Fit ![]() | A great productComments: BOTTOM LINE: A great productAfter total knee replacement ice is essential to reduce swelling and thereby pain. I was VERY relieved to find your website after my surgery as I did not have sufficient ice wraps. As you can see from my numerous purchases from you it has been an ongoing process for me. I have purchased your extra large ice packs and two of the wraps which are both very good. The Pro Ice multi wrap is very handy and easy to use. It provides very good "icing" and helps tremendously with pain relief. I have been very pleased with all of the products I have purchased from you and would recommend you to anyone. |
| By Paul From Undisclosed On August 04, 2009 | Reduces swellingComments: BOTTOM LINE: Reduces swellingThe ice wrap is exactly what I was looking for. It wraps around most of my knee and helps alleviate the swelling I had after surgery repairing my torn quad tendon. |
| By Nathaniel S. Weston From Undisclosed On February 25, 2009 | Knee Ice WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Knee Ice WrapThe PRO ICE Cold Therapy Wrap is the best product I've used to reduce swelling on and around injury area. I enjoy its professional look, the ease of use and the mobility it give. I would highly recoommend this product to other. |
| By gail b, sc From Undisclosed On November 12, 2008 | knee/multipurpose icewrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: knee/multipurpose icewrapI found the multipurpose IceWrap to be an excellent product. I can use it for either side of knee. I also use it for other body parts, i.e. back, elbow, etc. I find it stays cold longer than any other product I've used and does not weigh you down like the gel packs. |

Other prodcuts that I have used had a different freeze medium; they seemd to hold their cold temperature longer. Other product also had the freeze medium in a sleeve so that the product was not driectly on your skin.
