I had a jell pack but decided to get a shoulder wrap & it gives me the most relief after a workout of my shoulder at home. I love the way it fits my shoulder. I am scheduled to have the right shoulder done & I am glad I will have the wrap. BOTTOM LINE: love the shoulder wrap

It is much easier to use than the standard ice pack that doesn't stay in place and doesn't get relief to the areas I need it to. I especially like that this wrap fits around the entire shoulder area and down my bicep where there is a lot of inflammation after I do my stretching exercises. I even feel relief in my neck muscles! BOTTOM LINE: Well worth the cost!

Comments: I like everything about it EXCEPT for its inability to get very cold and then once cold to retain it for a longer period of time. BOTTOM LINE: Need to better hold the cold!
By Shelia From Undisclosed On August 23, 2010	4.0 Shoulder Wrap (Ice and Heat) by Elasto-Gel Comments: First off, it is pretty heavy, so if you have just had shoulder surgery, I'd suggest waiting about 5 weeks before you use it. The first time I tried to use it was only 2 1/2 weeks after my surgery. The weight hurt. So, I put it away for a couple of weeks. Now, I can wear it just fine with no problems. It holds its temperature well. It is easy to put on and is small enough to wear under clothing. BOTTOM LINE: Shoulder Wrap (Ice and Heat) by Elasto-Gel

It does not stay cold long enough to sufficiently "ice" his shoulder after pitching an entire game. The way it molds to his body is very nice. It just isn't quite right for use for a pitcher. BOTTOM LINE: Not for a throwing athlete

My only complaint is that the lower strap is not optimized for my body so that the fit is not perfect. Most importantly, this product is far superior to anything else available. To use the wrap I have to stay in the same position with raised arm in order to keep the wrap from sliding off my shoulder. Another well placed strap would solve this problem and allow me to continue activities. BOTTOM LINE: Good but needs another shoulder strap
