use this as pain relief instead of medicine. had rotar cuff surgery and tried using icebags but they kept falling off the spot and I kept having to move them around to different spots..this worked doing the whole upper arm and shoulder at one time. i even fell asleep many times with it on as it eased the pain

Use this product to warm my son's shoulder, who is a baseball pitcher, prior to throwing and then provide cyrotherapy following a workout or game. I am a physical therapist and use lots of products in the clinic that are difficult to conform to the injured area. This product fits the shoulder wonderfully and meets the needs of this athlete and his mom!

I like everything about it EXCEPT for its inability to get very cold and then once cold to retain it for a longer period of time.

First off, it is pretty heavy, so if you have just had shoulder surgery, I'd suggest waiting about 5 weeks before you use it. The first time I tried to use it was only 2 1/2 weeks after my surgery. The weight hurt. So, I put it away for a couple of weeks. Now, I can wear it just fine with no problems. It holds its temperature well. It is easy to put on and is small enough to wear under clothing.

It is very nice to be able to slide into a shoulder wrap and it is nice to be able to use it on either shoulder since both of my shoulders are injured.

I purchased this wrap for my son, who is a high school pitcher. It does not stay cold long enough to sufficiently "ice" his shoulder after pitching an entire game. The way it molds to his body is very nice. It just isn't quite right for use for a pitcher.

I have been using general purpose ice packs for my shoulder for several years. This ice pack is far superior to all the rest. My only complaint is that the lower strap is not optimized for my body so that the fit is not perfect. Most importantly, this product is far superior to anything else available.

Great product & easy to use. We keep it in the freezer. My son uses it after pitching - keeps it on until it is no longer cold - and has minimal soreness in his arm the next day.

The shoulder wrap was made well and of good material. To use the wrap I have to stay in the same position with raised arm in order to keep the wrap from sliding off my shoulder. Another well placed strap would solve this problem and allow me to continue activities.
