Pro IceŽ Lumbar/Lower Back Wrap (X-Large)
Description
Alleviate back pain from an injury, reduce swelling or prevent damage from overuse, whether that occurs on the job or the field of play. Without the ice insert, the lumbar wrap can be used as a stand-alone support belt. The X-Large-sized model (PI 740) is intended for individuals with a waist size of 47-58 inches. Two other sizes are available the PI 700 for individuals with waists from 26-33 inches and the PI 720 for individuals with waists from 34-46 inches. This reusable ice wrap can also be used in numerous sports medicine applications or for physical therapy rehab.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.
Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. I bought this for her for Easter to help her keep her back iced (like the doctor ordered) and to also offer some back support and *hopefully* any kind of pain relief. While she still has pain, this brace helps her greatly and she loves the ice factor! She had needed something that would not leak, and this brace provides extra support for her back. The quality is wonderful - heavy duty and is very comfortable for her to wear, even though she has extra weight in the stomach area. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it. |

This ice pack was so comfortable and easy to walk with, I even wore it unnoticed in stores prior to playing tennis. It also remains frozen longer than other products I have used. I'm a licensed Massage Therapist, and would recommend it to anyone in need. |
I ordered this wrap for my daughter who has chronic low and upper back pain. The wrap is fine but the ice packs are tiny and do not stay cold long enough to provide relief. I had so hoped it would help her. It's going back because both her doctor and physical therapist said it's not capable of working long enough to help her.
