Extend icing relief with an additional insert for the PI 400, Multi-Purpose Wrap. Additional inserts lengthen the cold therapy available, making it especially beneficial for acute injuries, athletes who need ice between games or those who are in intense pain. It works especially well for knee pain or knee strain, back pain and muscle pulls and pairs well with physical therapy rehab. It also is an effective tennis elbow treatment. This insert also can replace a punctured, damaged or lost insert, without the need to buy the entire wrap, making Pro Ice a cost-effective solution especially when compared to cold compress applications.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. I got extras so that i would always have a frozen pack available. But, after a couple of uses, they started to leak and now at least 1/4 of the cells are empty of water.
