Our Customers Say ...
"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

Pro Ice Multipurpose Wrap - Works on the Back
Description
Treat lower back pain with the versatile Pro Ice cold therapy Multi-Purpose Wrap. Prevent chronic back pain or treat acute back injuries with cold therapy. Pro Ice maintains a consistent temperature.
Virtually no matter where you hurt, the Pro Ice Multi-Purpose Wrap (PI 400) provides a solution. It’s especially effective for knee pain, back pain or injuries to the quad, hip, hamstring, calf, shin or elbow. The compression straps provide a custom fit no matter where it’s applied. This reusable ice wrap will reduce swelling and has numerous applications in sports medicine, including elbow tendinitis, knee sprains or knee strains, tennis elbow and muscle pulls. It also works well when paired with physical therapy rehab.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.
Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. The cover is made of Veltex, a patented, insulated loop fabric that will not fray. It directs the cold, limits condensation and lasts. The cryoblanket ice insert fluid is FDA-approved, food-grade and nontoxic. The proprietary mix melts slower than 100% water products and ice, rendering it ideal for remote usage. The windowpane format does not slump or thin, whether applied vertically or horizontally, even under compression, giving uniform distribution of cold. Elastic compression straps keep the wrap in place allowing variable compression where needed for personalized comfort and pinpoint application on trouble spots, while allowing the user to remain mobile and still ice. Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products are ready wherever and whenever needed.

From New York On June 26, 2012 About Me: Recently Injured, Suffering from General PainPros: Provides Pain Relief, Hold its Temperature Cons: Uncomfortable ![]() | Waist Size For Back Use Not ClearComments: BOTTOM LINE: Waist Size For Back Use Not ClearI had seen the words "works on back" and had assumed that it would easily fit my waist size (40 inches) for use on my back. However, for the straps to hold it securely on my back it was tight and uncomfortable. Service Comments: Your customer service representative was very caring and helpful. |

My only issue is that it seems like the ice pack may not last very long, due to its material. But we'll see! |
| By Shawn T From North Potomac, MD On December 05, 2011 About Me: Active Golfer, Three Bad DiscPros: Comfortable, Great Fit, Well Made, Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Works GreatComments: BOTTOM LINE: Works GreatThis product is great. I had a gel filled cloth ice pack that I loved. It is ten years old and the gel is almost gone so this is what I needed for a replacement. It is even better because I can strap the pack on right where I need it to work. |
| By Nicole23 From Atlanta, GA On Octover 11, 2011 About Me: Suffering from General Pain, Degenerative Disc DiseasePros: Well Made, Hold its Temperature, Great Fit, Provides Pain Relief, Comfortable ![]() | Works Great for lower back painComments: BOTTOM LINE: Works Great for lower back painI have ddd in my l5-s1 disc which is very low on my back. The ice wrap helps deliver icy cold pain relief I desperately need for my inflamed disc that I normally wouldn't get with a normal ice pack. I highly recommend this wrap to anyone who faces the same problem. I'm a size six and the wrap fits me perfectly. I can walk around and the straps stay on. However I mainly use this laying down while doing my physical therapy. |
| By LL From Dallas, TX On July 31, 2011 ![]() | Good size for backComments: BOTTOM LINE: Good size for backThis ice pack is a nice size for icing down my back. I'm 5'6, size 8 and I can lay on the floor on the pack and it covers from mid back to mid butt. I need to ice daily/after activity as I had back surgery. It isn't as good as the packs my physical therapist use but for the price a good product. I recommend getting an extra insert as this makes the pack colder and last longer. The cover is nice and keeps the two packs from slipping around. |
| By icy From Orange, CA On May 30, 2011 About Me: Suffering from General Pain, Recently InjuredPros: Comfortable, Great Fit, Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief, Well Made ![]() | Good Value, Good Cold PackComments: BOTTOM LINE: Good Value, Good Cold PackAfter a broken ankle I wrapped it around my ankle to keep the swelling down...even over my cast! For low back pain, I wrap it around my hips and the elastic with velcro hold it in place. For knee injury, it fits well over the knee. The great thing about it is that when the elastic is tightened and velcroed, you can walk around if necessary. This is my second order. |
| By Marlo From Undisclosed On September 25, 2010 ![]() | OKComments: BOTTOM LINE: OKThe ice pack retains it's temperature for a long time. I bought this because I thought it would stay on my back and I could wear it while walking around. Unfortunately, it does NOT stay on. The velcro at the end of the straps that go around the body are not big/strong enough to keep the wrap on; they let go as soon as I walk. I think that the straps need more velcro or need to be wider to hold up the wrap WITH the ice pack in it...I think that the ice pack is too heavy for the size of the straps. Other than that, it is a great wrap. I've had 3 back surgeries since 2006, and I needed a wrap big enough to cover my back from L4 to S1. This one does the trick. And I love how I can put the covered side against my body, or the more open side, which is how it is put on with the straps. The ice pack stays cold for over an hour, which is great. I bought a 2nd ice pack, and it turns out I really don't need it. I've put it away in case the one that comes with this wrap breaks/leaks. Overall, a great buy for a wrap of this size. But NOT if you want to be able to move/walk around with it on. |
| By Marlo From Undisclosed On September 25, 2010 ![]() | OKComments: BOTTOM LINE: OKI forgot to give it 4 stars (because it doesn't stay on). My review automatically gave it 5 stars, which I neglected to change. Sorry! |

High quality, better then expected for the price.
