Pro Ice Multipurpose Wrap - Works on the Elbow

Relieve tennis elbow, golfer's elbow or repetitive stress injuries by icing the elbow after activity. Pro Ice cold therapy products help the body heal, prevent chronic injuries and deliver non-toxic pain.
Virtually no matter where you hurt, the Pro Ice Multi-Purpose Wrap (PI 400) provides a solution. It’s especially effective for knee pain, back pain or injuries to the quad, hip, hamstring, calf, shin or elbow. The compression straps provide a custom fit no matter where it’s applied. This reusable ice wrap will reduce swelling and has numerous applications in sports medicine, including elbow tendinitis, knee sprains or knee strains, tennis elbow and muscle pulls. It also works well when paired with physical therapy rehab.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.

I have several ice pack products and this one is really is the best of them all. I have it all set in terms of the size and simply pull it from the freezer and slide it on. It stays cold for the duration of the 20 minute treatment, so it's perfect for my use. |

I have pain all around the elbow on both sides and above and below the joint. Other ice packs for elbows leave a hole for the elbow joint to stick out, but this one wraps all the way around without holes, which is better for relief of joint pain. It's a little tricky to get it strapped onto an elbow using only one hand, but with practice it works fine. The ice pack stays cold for over an hour. I am able to ice each elbow for 20 minutes or more in the same sitting. I have to wear a long sleeve shirt when I ice or else it is uncomfortably cold on my bare skin. I would recommend buying a fabric sleeve insert to use with the ice pack. The giant logo on the pack gets in the way of the velcro straps, but that is the only design flaw. Otherwise it seems very well made. I can't bend my elbow much while using it, but it stays on and stays in place so I can move around. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with elbow or knee injuries. It is worth every penny because it will make icing more effective and efficient, and therefore you'll be willing to ice more often. |

Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Icy Relief Really works on tennis elbow.I am using this for tendonitis in my right arm. It is really helping a lot. My hope is that I won't have to have another cortizone shot. After only one week of using this ice wrap, my arm is so much better. It is so easy to use. I just prop my arm up on a pillow and watch TV for an hour, once or twice a day, with the Ice Wrap around my arm. This is so much better than getting a shot! I love it. |

The ice is kept is a loose open weave that is too cold to be placed directly on skin. It was well made, but too large to wrap around the elbow as was advertised. I probably should have returned it but thought I could use it as a general ice pack for my lower back. |

Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Versatility at its Best!I bought this specifically for my elbow and found I also use it for my knees. Versatility is the biggest asset for this product. Also, you can move around once you have it on - able to multi-task. The only issue I have with it is that it is difficult to put on and use on the elbow since it is not specifically form fitting to an elbow. |

The doctor told me to ice my arm every hr for 15 min. but the ice packs I found in the convenience stores and one medical shop did not cover the area that that this one did- they were all not big enough. I needed it to go up past my elbow. this arm wrap was the best one I could find and also had the arm band with the ice packs which made it easier for me not to have to find an arm band that big also.I use it every day & it has helped a lot. I would recommend. |
