"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

Pro Ice Multipurpose Wrap - Works on the Shin
Description
Treat shin splints from an injury or repetitive stress with the Pro Ice multipurpose cold therapy wrap. Icing helps reduce swelling that comes with an injury, providing non-toxic pain relief. It also helps the body repair from repetitive use.
Virtually no matter where you hurt, the Pro Ice Multi-Purpose Wrap (PI 400) provides a solution. It’s especially effective for knee pain, back pain or injuries to the quad, hip, hamstring, calf, shin or elbow. The compression straps provide a custom fit no matter where it’s applied. This reusable ice wrap will reduce swelling and has numerous applications in sports medicine, including elbow tendinitis, knee sprains or knee strains, tennis elbow and muscle pulls. It also works well when paired with physical therapy rehab.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.
Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. The cover is made of Veltex, a patented, insulated loop fabric that will not fray. It directs the cold, limits condensation and lasts. The cryoblanket ice insert fluid is FDA-approved, food-grade and nontoxic. The proprietary mix melts slower than 100% water products and ice, rendering it ideal for remote usage. The windowpane format does not slump or thin, whether applied vertically or horizontally, even under compression, giving uniform distribution of cold. Elastic compression straps keep the wrap in place allowing variable compression where needed for personalized comfort and pinpoint application on trouble spots, while allowing the user to remain mobile and still ice. Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products are ready wherever and whenever needed.

| By Jamo From SLC, UT On May 01, 2012 About Me: AthleticPros: Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Great solutionComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great solutionI have MTSS (Shin Splints) and am training for a marathon. Using these ice wraps I have virtually eliminated my shin splints. I ICE 4 times a day for 20 minutes. I find that initally the inserts are frozen and not very flexible, so I wrap my leg loosly for 5 minutes then once the ice softens I reapply the wrap and tighten it down nice and even. The only issue I have with these is that popping ICE bubbles losing the water inside them. This happened a lot initally and Icewraps.net sent me another insert. Now that I first let the ice soften before really wrapping my leg tightly I have been rupturing less of the ice bubbles but still lose one every week or so. I wish they used inserts that were more durable and more resistant to puncture by the ice inside them, or even gel filled. That way they wouldn't leak and become useless. So I'll probably be buying inserts periodically. Despite that issue this is still a great product and has really helped my injury heal which is really amazing, because I haven't stopped training. |
| By frizzle From durango,co On March 09, 2012 About Me: Athletic, Recently InjuredPros: Comfortable Cons: Poor Value, Some Wetness as it Melts, Does not Hold its Temperature ![]() | poor qualityComments: BOTTOM LINE: poor qualityi bought this product to use post surgery on my broken fibula. good design and comfortable fit make it worth all of [$]. but, the first day i received the product i unwrapped it and laughed out loud because the insert they give you is nothing more than flimsy plastic (the plastic cracked the first time i froze it). now one of the water chambers has already broken. the actual wrap is nice but the insert is a serious joke. i wouldnt buy again and probably gonna get my money back. |

| By Pilot Mike From San Jose, CA On April 15, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Professional Swim CoachPros: Fabric support case, Comfortable, Great Fit, Provides Pain Relief ![]() | Nice and CoolComments: BOTTOM LINE: Nice and CoolAfter ~1.5 weeks of use 2 times a day they are holding up just fine. The actual ice packets are made of plastic. About 2 times as thick as a heavy duty zip-lock bag. |
