"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling
Pro Ice® Shoulder Insert (accompanies PI 260)
MADE ONLY TO FIT PRO ICE SHOULDER WRAP (PI 260) PRO ICE BRAND ICE WRAPS
Extend icing relief with an additional insert for the PI 260, Shoulder Wrap. Additional inserts lengthen the cryo therapy available, making it especially beneficial for athletes who need ice between games or those who are in intense pain. It also works great for shoulder carpal tunnel, or for physical therapy rehab. This insert also can replace a punctured, damaged or lost insert, without the need to buy the entire wrap, making Pro Ice a cost-effective solution when compared to gel packs.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.
Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. The cover is made of Veltex, a patented, insulated loop fabric that will not fray. It directs the cold, limits condensation and lasts. The cryoblanket ice insert fluid is FDA-approved, food-grade and nontoxic. The proprietary mix melts slower than 100% water products and ice, rendering it ideal for remote usage. The windowpane format does not slump or thin, whether applied vertically or horizontally, even under compression, giving uniform distribution of cold. Elastic compression straps keep the wrap in place allowing variable compression where needed for personalized comfort and pinpoint application on trouble spots, while allowing the user to remain mobile and still ice. Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products are ready wherever and whenever needed.

Does it's job for the most part, but with the shoulder wrap, it doesn't contour to the shape of my shoulder, resulting in a pretty ineffective setup. I ordered a backup ice pack, but ended up using other cold packs that I already had in the IceWraps holder.

I have had the Ice Pro back and shoulder wrap for years. Its great for chronic pain from athletics - just wrap yourself and enjoy the ice therapy without the ice bags melting and leaking all over you. It's something you can use everyday and it's so quick and easy.

Fits shoulder wrap perfectly. Easy to insert. I put it in the freezer and it remains extremely cold for a long time, over 30 minutes. Even though it is frozen it is pliable and wraps easily around the shoulder and arm. Other reviews helped me purchase this product so I had to do the same and write my own review.
Prompt delivery and arrived in good condition.

I bought an extra to fit in the ice shoulder. It helps to have a spare in case it is forgotten to freeze the used one.

I am Vanessa and I was the one this product was purchased for. I use this product more than the other ones for it is lighter weight and easier for me to handle since my shoulder surgery. I would say the only bad thing is the velco to open the package up to put the replacement is hard to do right after surgery but you know for sure that it is not going to come out while in use. People that have shoulder problems should GET THESE for are GREAT to HAVE.

Great product. Used it after my shoulder repair surgery. Worked great and gave some wonderful relief. Best part, it was portable and did the job. I got an extra ice insert which helped. While I was using one, the second was in the freezer refreezing.

Its easy and fast to use. Grab the shoulder wrap from the freezer put it on. No messing with plastic bags and melting ice leaks. Its great! If its not placed flat in the freezer, the individual ice packet crack open.
