Extend shoulder pain relief with an additional insert for the PI 220, Shoulder/Elbow wrap Youth model. Additional inserts lengthen the cold therapy available, making it especially beneficial for athletes who need an ice wrap between games in a tournament, sports medicine uses or for physical therapy rehab. This insert also can replace a punctured, damaged or lost insert, without the need to buy the entire wrap, making Pro Ice a cost-effective cryo therapy solution.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. We use this with the shoulder/arm sleeve. The sleeve came with one set, but it's nice to have an extra set. My son pitches often and it takes several hours for the gel pack to freeze so it's good to have a back up to switch out while the first one is re-freezing.
