Description
Take pain relief and prophylactic icing wherever its needed with the Pro Ice Pitchers Travel Kit (PI 800), which includes the Adult Shoulder/Elbow wrap (PI 200), additional ice insert (PI 201) and cooler bag (PI 600). Users will find all the shoulder cold therapy pack delivers cold therapy wherever it’s needed, whether that is following a baseball or softball game, or for physical therapy rehab. It’s ideal for any type of shoulder pain, including shoulder tendinitis. The cooler bag will keep the wrap and insert cold for up to eight hours. Once applied, the wrap will provide a consistent temperature for up to an hour. If additional cryo therapy is needed, simply replace the ice insert for extended cold therapy or pain management
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs.

I use the ice wrap for 15 minutes after pitching to help prevent injury. Now my other team mates that pitch want to use it to. The travel bad and extra ice are great for tournaments. |

Preliminary reviews are good; temp is good, but only for about 10 minutes, compression is better at elbow than shoulder, durability is still a concern. I like it, it works in limited use. I'm still use more ice bags and elastic wraps, but when thats not available the Pro-Ice Pitchers Shoulder Ice Wrap is nice to have. |
We use this product after my 13 year old pitches as a preventive measure. Packs stay cold in the bag and stays cool on the arm for about 15 minutes. We have two sets of packs so that if he needs additional cooling down, we can switch out packs. I believe the packs cool down when exposed to not only the air heat but the body temperature. It is AWESOME - does the job of cooling the muscels without soaking down the shirt.
