I bought this to help with a strained shoulder. It has help speed recovery and it is easy to use by yourself. The individual ice cells make it conform to the body .The only thing I would change is that the chest strp is attached on one side,making it hard to put on alone when using it on the right shoulder.Otherwise it is a great product.

I purchased this for my 17 year old son who is a high school pitcher. The adult large is a good fit and I love how easily adjustable this is. He used to hate icing after games but this is so easy to use and so comfortable that he now reminds me he needs to ice rather than the other way around. I've seen similar products advertised at much higher prices but I don't know why you'd need anything better than this. Highly recommended!

I have been going to PT for treatment to my shoulder and elbow. They use big cold packs that are wrapped around my shoulder and elbow. After searching the web I came across this item and it seemed like it would be much more convenient. It has been! Getting the straps arranged took some time at first. But once that's done it done. I'm tall 6' 3" (which isn't very tall for atheletic kids now) and wish that the main strap (the one that runs from the back of the shoulder pack and then across the chest to the front) was a little longer. It will ride up into my armpit and become uncomfortable after I've worn this for awhile. Not a biggie, I just slide it back down, but and inch or two more of the strap and it'd be perfect. The temperature out of the freezer is right on. Cold enough for good pain relief. I need to wear something (a long sleeved T shirt works for me) to keep the pads from being directly on my skin. The cooling lasts about 45 minutes. Re-freezing the pads takes about 3 hours in my home freezer. I like the fit and convenience and how well the cold packs are kept close to my muscles that need the cold. I am very pleased with this item. My PT was also impressed and wanted the URL of this site so she could suggest it to others.

I am a 13 yr old boy, going into high school, and the adult size is perfect. We've had it for 3 weeks and the hardest part is removing the velcro,hopefully it lasts for a while (time will tell). It stays cold, super easy to use, and has great shoulder coverage. For the price, even if I have to replace it yearly, I'll be happy!

Afraid I find this product unusable and unacceptable, at least for my specific pain - rotator cuff - and body shape. Hard to get it into the right position and it is uncomfortable. I also don't understand the arm cuff concept. I am a big guy and it hangs down around my elbow. Does nothing for my shoulder. And the shoulder pad ends up on top of my shoulder around the collar bone. I also bought the Mueller Large Reusable Hot-Cold Therapy Wrap for $18.95 at the same time and it is fantastic. Use it every night. The Elite-Kold for me is a big and expensive disappointmnet. A bad buy IMHO.

My 11 year son is a pitcher and experienced weakness in his shoulder after pitching all spring and summer last year. After a few months of physical therapy, my husband and were looking to make sure we prevent a repeat injury with this year's baseball season. The Elite-Kold Ice Wrap has made it easy to work prevention into my son's routine after pitching. After a game, he can immediately ice both his shoulder and elbow comfortably with the wrap. He has commented that his arm feels better almost immediately. I did purchase the adult size as my son is 5'3" and 110 pounds and it fits him fine. The velcro straps can be sized to fit, providing flexibility as he grows.

Truly the best money I spent on an ice-pack type product. At first this is difficult to figure out how to place on your body - hang in there - it works and it's worth it! Once you get it, putting it on is easy and this really does helo bring down inflammation in the neck and shoulder areas. Great product!

Just had surgery on my shoulder, this is my third surgery. I have never experienced such relief!! They should pass these ice wraps out at the surgery center! Doc prescribes ice packs every hour for 20 minutes but can't get ice packs to stay in place or keep cold, this is the best solution possible! VERY happy with this product, my only regret is not ordering it sooner!!

I just had SLAP surgery on my shoulder and this ice wrap is wonderful...My only problem is that it is way to big for my shoulder...being a female I think these should be be made smaller for the female shoulders.

Great product. Almost as cold as a bag of ice but 100x more convenient. I recently had my rotator cuff repaired. I usually stick it in a cooler in my car and then use it on my drive home from the gym. The straps are easily adjusted to provide a perfect fit. One of the few products I have given five starts.

It is good to know that it works on both the left and right shoulder as Im left handed. I lvoe the fact that it is one piece and all I have to do to get it ready for the next use is put it back in the freezer. The valcro really holds it in place. I go to bed with it on at least three nights a week and it is exactly what I was looking for. Nothing like ice...goodbye advil....

I find the wrap words very well after pitching. I couldn't find one in Canada so I purchased this off of the internet. The wrap is great but the shipping to Canada cost me almost as much as the wrap itself.

Works well, but would work better if the section of the wrap that wraps around the upper arm was detachable and the area covering the shoulder was larger (definitely would be an issue with larger men).

Mark, Your product worked as advertised and was the closest I found for the application needed. My father (85) needed to have ice applied to his sholer due to an injury. Your wrap as manufactured was too complicated and gangly for him to don even with help. Cutting off the arm section made things more manageable.

It is easy to use - does it's job well. Holds ice a lomg time. The only thing you might consider is putting the two ice bags that go on the upper arm is - have it so it couldbe removed if no needed. I needed to focus on my shoulder so I removed it by cutting it and attaching velcrow to it so I could use it latter if needed to lmuscles on my upper arm.
