As a preventive measure or for actual injury of the throwing athlete, the Elite-Kold Adult Athletic Shoulder Wrap by Pro Kold is the 'Gold Standard' due to it's design and effectiveness. Several studies have shown that Elite Kold products get the appropriate cold (just above freezing) to the treatment site, with no fear of frostbite or cold shock.

Elite-Kold wraps provide up to 2 hours of cold treatment at a safe temperature. Two layers of "ice pillows" contain non-toxic, purified water as the freezing agent.
