Description
The Pro Ice Scapula/Cervical Collar Wrap provides outstanding cold therapy with a large coverage area. Its ideal for pain that comes from repetitive stress injuries, or after surgery. Since many of us carry tension in this area, applying the cold wrap after a long day at the office can help alleviate stress as well. The Pro Ice Scapula/Cervical Collar can also provide relief to whiplash injuries, sprains or strains or arthritis pain. It is an ideal product to reduce swelling or to use in conjunction with physical therapy rehab or chiropractic treatments.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied, offering superior icing when compared to a gel ice pack. Whether the reusable ice pack comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.

Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. Stays on shoulders very well. For a small neck it doesn't wrap tight enough to get the ice contact on skin. Also the edges are sharp around the neck. Straps cut under the arms. It covers the upper back perfectly down to the bottom of my shoulder blades. It lasts long enough to really calm my pain down after even a rough day. Bends enough that it contours to my back. The neck portion fits well around the neck but is a little stiff up and down. All in all a really great product. |

Along with physical therapy and the use of my ice pack, I am doing better. |
The wrap is constructed with neoprene and coarse netting. The straps are designed so the soft neoprene is worn on the OUTSIDE while the coarse, abrasive netting is worn against your skin. Also, there is nothing in the design to prevent the inserted ice packs from moving, so when trying to put this on without another person assisting, the ice pack slips around inside the pack and folds over. This was obviously designed in a "vacuum" and never tested. Glad they have a decent return policy.
