"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

The Shin WRAPZ is a great way to treat and prevent injuries to the shin and calf areas. Many runners experience shin splints and this product works very well to apply therapy to this common occurrence. Placing the WRAPZ directly on the area where the discomfort occurs on the shin will ease the pain. If you have a calf injury, simply reverse the product centering the pouch of the WRAPZ on the calf for the same therapeutic effect.

| By mom From Maine On June 02, 2012 Pros: Well Made, Provides Pain Relief, Comfortable, Hold its Temperature Cons: Pocket not big enough ![]() | This was a hit!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: This was a hit!We tried these for my 14 y.o. daughter with shin splints from running track this Spring. They've been very helpful. Hold the cold quite well, for a good 20-30 minutes or so. She wishes they went a little lower to cover the lower shin better tho, but that's a minor thing, she just slides them down a bit. The ice pack ends up sitting about an inch outside of the pocket with the small size wrapz so you can't close the velco. But again, it doesn't really matter, still works fine. She finds it nice to be able to get up and walk around with them on too. I bought 2 so she can ice both legs at once which made it a little pricey, but still, these are a winner overall. Service Comments: Quick shipping, arrived in fine condition. |

I've been using these for shin splints, and after comparing these to other leg ice packs, I'd say these are the best for sure. The packs basically consist of a gel icepack that you can take out of the velcro/wrap. This is awesome because it means I don't have to shove the whole thing in the freezer, and it's easy to wash. They seem well made, so far so good, they're comfy, and my shins definitely feel better after I've ice them, pretty much everything I wanted. The only minor "con" I have on these is the price, kind of expensive, but still, worth it.
