"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

Description
Prevent and relieve pain by icing after activity with the Pro Ice Shoulder Wrap. This large coverage wrap is designed to stay in place, allowing the user to remain mobile while providing the ultimate in shoulder cold therapy packs. This product is ideal for anyone who has pain from bursitis or rotator cuff injuries, shoulder carpal tunnel or whose job or activities are strenuous on the shoulder. It’s also ideal for physical therapy rehab or a valuable tool in sports medicine. There simply is no better shoulder cold therapy pack on the market today.
Pro Ice holds constant at 27 degrees, until it is liquid, up to an hour when applied. Whether the reusable ice wrap comes out of a freezer or one of our cooler bags, it is ready for after a game or practice. That guarantees full therapeutic value, under the widest variety of real-life conditions. Additional inserts can lengthen the icing time and provide yet another benefit over gel ice packs. Pair with one of our cooler bags for the ultimate in portable pain relief.
Pro Ice was created in 1991 with athletes in mind, but now delivers non-toxic pain relief to anyone who hurts or who ices for preventative care. Each component of the Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products has been designed with the ultimate sports medicine care while contributing to the goal of optimal icing. The cover is made of Veltex, a patented, insulated loop fabric that will not fray. It directs the cold, limits condensation and lasts. The cryoblanket ice insert fluid is FDA-approved, food-grade and nontoxic. The proprietary mix melts slower than 100% water products and ice, rendering it ideal for remote usage. The windowpane format does not slump or thin, whether applied vertically or horizontally, even under compression, giving uniform distribution of cold. Elastic compression straps keep the wrap in place allowing variable compression where needed for personalized comfort and pinpoint application on trouble spots, while allowing the user to remain mobile and still ice. Pro Ice Cold Therapy Products are ready wherever and whenever needed.

| By plant1 From Clearwater, FL On September 28, 2012 About Me: Suffering from General Pain, Recently InjuredPros: Well Made, Comfortable, Provides Pain Relief, Hold its Temperature, Great Fit ![]() | GREAT FOR ALL TYPES OF SHOULDER PAIN!!!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: GREAT FOR ALL TYPES OF SHOULDER PAIN!!!This was purchased for husband's pre and post shoulder surgery. It worked beautifully, and the small pockets of pre-filled liquid was pliable and covered a much larger area than a frozen bag refill type of construction. |
| By Bill B From Griffin, GA On June 30, 2012 About Me: Recently InjuredPros: Hold its Temperature, Provides Pain Relief, Comfortable Cons: Some Wetness as it Melts ![]() | Excellent valueComments: BOTTOM LINE: Excellent valueUsed for rotator cuff surgery rehab; Pro-Ice Shoulder Wrap much better than other solutions (ice cubes in a bag, froz. vegetables, other ice products, etc.); the velcro straps allow for more custom fit, like the thin foam / mesh net "bag" that the ice packs fit into; the ice pack has small indiv. cells (vs. one big cells) that allow for some shaping around my shoulder. Ice cells last for at least 20 minutes. Not sure how durable the cloth covering is (where the velcro ends grab) for many velcro grab cycles. Service Comments: Delivery was prompt as stated when ordering; no issues at all. |

| By MC402 From Fairfield, OH On March 28, 2012 About Me: Recent shoulder surgeryPros: Comfortable, Great Fit, Provides Pain Relief, Well Made ![]() | Great product and value for the moneyComments: BOTTOM LINE: Great product and value for the moneyI ordered my Pro Ice Shoulder Wrap late on Monday 3/12/12, it was shipped the next day, had shoulder surgery on Wednesday, and received my order on Thursday. I use the shoulder wrap 20+ minutes every hour, which is why I purchased the additional ice insert, so that I always have a frozen insert. It is very easy to use and very comfortable to wear. Great product and value for the money. |

Using this product I get and hour of deep cold, and will use a second insert for longer relief after my surgery. A great purchase! |

| By KayKay From Houston, TX On Octover 23, 2011 About Me: Shoulder Tendonosis, SLAP TearPros: Comfortable, Hold its Temperature, Great Fit, Provides Pain Relief, Well Made Cons: Confusing instructions ![]() | Just as it saysComments: BOTTOM LINE: Just as it saysI use the product after home exercises prescribed by physical therapist. It stays cold for a long time which helps to relieve the pain. My shoulder is numb after use. Even though the insert is frozen since I put it in the freezer, it is still pliable and easily wraps around my shoulder and arm. Take your time to figure out how to get the proper fit for you and you will not be disappointed. The quality is very good. I would highly recommend. Service Comments: Delivery was prompt and the product arrived in good condition. I ordered an extra insert and that was also in the same package. |

I like the ice pack that comes with the item. |

The product prescribed was $170.00 and not covered by insurance. I'm so glad I found this on line. Saved me money and the nurses really liked it better. You won't be dissatisfied! Service Comments: I was in a hurry for the ice wrap and they had it to me within just a few days. I ordered late Friday and it was at my door on Wednesday. Everything was just as ordered! |
| By grumpyoldguy From Ontario, Canada On March 08, 2011 About Me: Athletic, Tendonitis suffererPros: Hold its Temperature, Well Made, Provides Pain Relief Cons: Difficult to Use ![]() | Needs some design improvementsComments: BOTTOM LINE: Needs some design improvementsBought this to treat shoulder tendonitis. Device is the right size and straps hold it in place quite well when moving around. However, the ice pack insert is a tight fit into the cover when frozen; corners tend to catch on the mesh side. If insert was a half-inch narrower fit would be much better. Also the insert is harder and less flexible when frozen than the gel-type cold packs used in other products. |
| By C K From San Diego,CA On February 10, 2011 About Me: Suffering from General Pain, AthleticPros: Well Made Cons: Difficult to Use, Not good for shoulder, Uncomfortable ![]() | Not for a small adultComments: BOTTOM LINE: Not for a small adultThe picture was for using this ice pack on a shoulder injury. I find it too hard to keep in place with the elastic bands that were included being of little or no help. I am a small person and it too large. |

| By Susie From Undisclosed On June 10, 2009 | Shoulder wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Shoulder wrapI found the wrap to be a little stiff compared to the one I received at the hospital, however it stayed in place much better. The order arrived in the time frame stated. Wihs I had this all along. |
| By Bridget From Undisclosed On April 04, 2009 | ice packComments: BOTTOM LINE: ice packThis arrived very quickly. It does not fit large people well but can be altered to work. It hold the cold a long time. |
| By Charlene From Undisclosed On September 06, 2008 | Shoulder Only Ice WrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: Shoulder Only Ice WrapThe shoulder wrap stays in place, which comes in handy and is great. The only problem that I had with it was that it didn't ice very well. The cold had a hard time penetrating the wrap. |
| By Vickie From Undisclosed On September 04, 2008 | Wonderful ItemComments: BOTTOM LINE: Wonderful ItemThis product is not as heavy as the one I received after Rotator Cuff Surgery and is not as scratchy at the neck. Fit is great and I would tell anyone getting ready to have Shoulder surgery to purchase this before surgery. I love this one and also got a package of the Replacement Ice Inserts. Your ice pack last longer than the 15 minutes you are to keep it on and is very confortable to sleep in which was a plus to me. |
| By Charlie Cannon From Undisclosed On May 21, 2008 | Much better than I've foundComments: BOTTOM LINE: Much better than I've foundI tried a bunch of other general ice wraps and never got the ice in the right position to actually chill the right spot. This wrap is very flexible and easily adjusts to the right spot. Great wrap. |
| By Karen Strehlow From Undisclosed On May 19, 2008 | shoulder ice wrapComments: BOTTOM LINE: shoulder ice wrapMy 17 yr. old son uses this everyday for tendenitous after swim workouts, and is great. No more water dripping down his front and back while icing. Now he can get started icing and still move around without having to continually adjust to the right spot. |
| By Bruce Towers From Undisclosed On May 15, 2008 | Works for me!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Works for me!Ever chase an ice-bag down your sleeve....constantly? This product did the trick! Easy to use, comfortable, holds the pack in place once one places it as desired. The ice packs freeze fairly quickly and (while I haven’t tried it) I suspect one could rotate three to keep the affected area on ice all day. I’m a happy camper as this product keeps the packs on the front of my shoulder. Try keeping an ice bag there! |

I purchased the wrap for a shoulder injury. The large area and 2 elastic straps work well to cover both the shoulder and bicep area. The down side is the ice pack itself. It is made of a sheet of 15 individual packets that contain water - arranged 5 accross and 3 wide. This does not offer good contact when it bends from the top of my shoulder to the bicep. So I purchased a large gel pack to insert in the wrap and this works great.
