I chose this because it's what my physical therapist uses so I figured it had to be good. I have a torn Achilles and sometimes the pain is unbearable. A regular ice pack gets too hard--and if you've ever had a torn achilles, you know that just touching it lightly can cause extreme pain. The ColPac gets cold (feels colder than a regular ice pack), but remains soft and pliable, so my foot sinks down into the comfort and coolness & feels great. Also, the size is perfect for wrapping. The price is right and the product is perfect. |

This is a wonderful product for pain, swelling, and overall post-exercise treatment! Better than using ice cubes, the gel packet can be compressed around the area, holds the temperature for about 20 minutes which the time any area should receive cold treatment. I have two I keep in the freezer. This size is perfect for joint areas. I purchased this one as a Christmas gift. I hope the recipient loves it as much as I do!
