"I know I’ve found a new key to my post-ride recovery. After each ride, I take a recovery drink with me into the shower, clean off and then put the ice wraps on while I cook and eat."-- Phil Gaimon, 24, rides for Kenda Pro Cycling

Description
The 3-in-1 Human Injury Wrap from ColdOne? can be applied two different ways on the hand and wrist to treat common sprains and strains and to provide relief from carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and surgical recoveries. Adjustable straps reduces tension in wrist and finger extensors while gripping. Endorsed by pro and amateur bowlers, golfers, and tennis players.
Constructed of non-toxic and non-hazardous FDA approved materials, the wraps are safe to use against the skin. Once applied, the gels will gradually thaw within 15-20 minutes - the length of time recommended by doctors and orthopedic therapists for effective healing - so there is no risk of damage from ?over-icing? the tissues or cryoburn to the skin. All wraps are ready-to-wear when frozen for up to two hours in a residential or commercial freezer and should be used a minimum of 2-3 times per day for maximum benefit.
ColdOne? cold compression therapy wraps are comprised of three low-bulk stretchable layers that drive the cold deep into ligaments and muscles. The outer layer of nitrogen blown neoprene provides insulation and prevents moisture build-up on the outside while the rubber impregnated linen of the inner layer also reduces interior sweating while protecting against cryoburn. The mid layer of strategically sewn in non-toxic flexible gels conform to the body?s curvature for a close comfortable fit while providing cold coverage where it?s needed most. Other wrap manufacturers save money by using nylon, which can fatigue after repeated freezing, instead of neoprene and using inserts which are hard to place and unreliable and uncomfortable. They may provide cold, but not compression, don?t have durability and don?t come close to driving cold as deep as Cold One wraps.
The durable, easy to care for wraps can be washed in a home dishwasher (top rack) and the inner layer can be disinfected with an anti-bacterial wipe if used for open wounds or post surgical applications. All ColdOne? cold compression wraps are reusable and refreezable.
Orthopedic MDs and Physical Therapists recommend Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation (R.I.C.E.) for critical and chronic soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, torn and stretched ligament. The cold and compression stop pain and inflammation to the soft tissues and promote faster healing. ColdOne? re-freezable wraps deliver cold and compression in a single, safe and easy to use neoprene wrap; a combination that drives the cold deeper than leaky ice packs, bags of frozen vegetables, or frozen chemical gel packs.

| By Robin From Undisclosed On January 15, 2010 | Doesn't Fit to Contours of HandComments: BOTTOM LINE: Doesn't Fit to Contours of HandI had problems with this wrap because of the design. This is not a gel-based ice wrap. The inside of this wrap is a layer of rectangular pockets with some sort of liquid solution in it that freezes, forming small flat blocks of ice. Because my area of injury is on the contoured part of my wrist (thumb base), using this wrap was about as comfortable as putting flat, cold stones against my wrist and adding compression. Considering the price, I am not impressed. If your injury is on a flatter part of your body, however, you might have better results. |
| By Valerie From Undisclosed On July 13, 2009 | Big HandComments: BOTTOM LINE: Big HandMade for a bigger hand than mine. I can't use it with my thumb extended, as directed by the doctor, because it is too big. |
| By Harrison From Undisclosed On April 26, 2009 | Wrist and Hand Ice Pack by ColdOneComments: BOTTOM LINE: Wrist and Hand Ice Pack by ColdOneGreat product. Comfortable and cold, and not too stiff. Fits the hand/wrist very well. Liked it better than the Pro Ice product which was a bit stiff. |
| By scott From Undisclosed On November 03, 2008 | works wellComments: BOTTOM LINE: works wellstays frozen cold for at least 20 minutes if left in freezer for many hours. have only tried on hand / wrist and works well. elastic adjustable wraps are convenient. doesn't leak nearly any condensation. bought 2. was kind of expensive but plan to keep them for long time. |
| By Tami From Undisclosed On Octover 29, 2008 | Love them!Comments: BOTTOM LINE: Love them! The ice wraps are great. They are super easy to use and you can continue to go about your day without sitting down to put an ice pack on. I would highly recommend them! |
| By Carol From Undisclosed On June 02, 2008 | Soothes my Burning WristComments: BOTTOM LINE: Soothes my Burning WristI really like this wrist ice wrap. Very comfortable. I use it every night after I do the dishes...and it provides excellent relief. My only critique is the cold does not last as long as I would like it to. |

Tried this for carpal tunnel but construction of the unit prevents the actual cold cells from contacting the affected area unless external pressure is applied. And then the cold doesn't last long. Bag of ice in a towel works far better
