Youth Shoulder Ice Wrap - EliteKold

As a preventive measure or for actual injury of the throwing athlete, the Elite-Kold Youth Athletic Shoulder Wrap by Elite Kold is the 'Gold Standard' due to it's design and effectiveness. Several studies have shown that Elite Kold products get the appropriate cold (just above freezing) to the treatment site, with no fear of frostbite or cold shock.
Many team physicians and athletic trainers use Elite*Kold model products on the sideline and in the training room.
Elite-Kold wraps provide up to 2 hours of cold treatment at a safe temperature. Two layers of "ice pillows" contain non-toxic, purified water as the freezing agent. When frozen the ice pillows remain flexible to ensure a comfortable fit and excellent application of cold to injury site. The outside velvet loop fabric allows desired compression and fit for all sizes.

I ordered the youth shoulder ice wrap....the website was easy to order from and we recieved our order within a few days. The wrap fits my son great however we dont like the fact that there isnt a get inside...it feels just like water and is uncomfortable to wear...we tried putting a couple of hand towels between his arm and the wrap which didnt allow for the cold to work and found that keeping it in the fridge was better...it offered the cold without being hard
